Research Administrators' Symposium

 

We are excited to announce the 75th Anniversary Edition of the Research Administrators’ Symposium! This year’s theme, “Decades of Discovery: Enabling SUNY’s Best for 75 Years,” celebrates the vital role that our employees who support  research administration have played in advancing innovation, cutting edge technologies, and lifesaving discoveries across the SUNY system.

Co-chaired once again by  Lisa Gilroy, Interim Vice President for Research and RF Operations Manager, Binghamton University and Scott Shurtleff, Vice President for Sponsored Programs, Central Office, the Symposium brings together professionals from across the system to share knowledge, exchange best practices, and explore strategies for navigating the increasingly complex challenges facing research and sponsored programs today.

The Symposium will be held in Albany, New York, on September 1–2, 2026. Check back frequently for updates, agenda, and registration.
