Why I want to be a Protege:

"I would hope to gain guidance on my career path and receive greater knowledge of public health."

Personal Statement:

"I am a recent graduate of Syracuse University with in Bachelors in political science. I am currently working as a research coordinator within the pediatric gastroenterology department. My passion for public health brought me to Upstate. I have previously worked in urgent care as well as occupational medicine and both opportunities helped craft my understanding of health care from varying municipalities. I truly enjoy health education and value that aspect within my job role as research coordinator. The brief moments I spend with our patients and families bring our studies to life. Although I am a first year CRA I can certainly see myself growing tremendously and evolving into other research roles. Helping others understand why I do what I do gratifies me and permits a stronger patient connection to the work I conduct everyday."

Goals:

"...obtain Masters in public health, dietician/health educator, author..."
