Eric L. Cochran, Retired Partner, Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP

Eric Cochran, a recently-retired partner from the New York law firm of Skadden Arps Slate Meagher & Flom, is the Head of Corporate Development for Sila Nanotechnologies, a provider of advanced materials for lithium ion batteries. He is a long-time supporter of schools and educational organizations.  He has served as a board member and treasurer of Little Red Elisabeth Irwin, the progressive K-12 independent school in Greenwich Village; as a member of the finance committee of Friends Seminary, the oldest continuously co-educational school in New York City; and as a trustee of Williams College.

Mr. Cochran also has served as a trustee and the board chair of the Clark Art Institute, and currently serves as the vice-chair of the board of Horizons National, a nation-wide education and youth development organization which advances and supports an expanding network of summer and out-of-school programs.
