Why I want to be a mentor:
Receiving mentorship at an early age allowed me to understand the value of transferring knowledge. For the last several decades I have responded to great mentorship by serving as a mentor for others.
I enjoy teaching and mentoring and served as a member of the adjunct faculty for Cleveland State University and the University of Akron. I've lectured nationally and internationally and earned the Excellence in Graduate Teaching Award the CSU College of Urban Affairs and the Distinguished Alumni Award from the same university. With extensive civic involvement, I am committed to helping others achieve their full potential.
As a passionate educator, I remain dedicated to teaching, educating and growing leaders. My approach is targeted toward bringing out the best in people and using the principles of team dynamics to advance learning objectives.
Commitment to Diversity:
As a seasoned practitioner, my knowledge base, experience, leadership and community involvement with diversity and inclusion is comprehensive. As a human resources leader and champion, I strive to ensure all members of the workforce demonstrate cultural competence skills and behaviors that support and encourage an inclusive workplace.
