Industry Contracts Administrator, University at Buffalo
Specialties: Legal / Contracts
Why I want to be a Mentor:
I am motivated to be a mentor because I enjoyed participating in the RF development program as a protege and want to pay it forward to the next class of SUNY leaders.
A business-focused attorney, I am both a public servant and an advocate for regional economic development. I earned my bachelor's degree in Cell Biology from the University of Rochester and my law degree from the University at Buffalo School of Law. Now, I work for UB's Clinical Research Office, where I negotiate research contracts between the university and pharmaceutical companies to help Western New Yorkers access experimental, life-saving treatments.
I give my time as a candidate for political office because I want help improve my community. I also work with other younger future leaders in my community to help groom them for future leadership positions.
Commitment to Diversity:
I am committed to diversity. I believe that a diverse workforce at both the campus and central office levels creates an environment the provides a variety of perspectives and helps us not get "stuck in a rut" with group-think.
