2017 Research Administrators' Symposium
Registration for the symposium is closed
Research administrators have had to respond to perhaps the greatest regulatory transformation in the world of research administration that we have ever seen. These changes present new challenges to our business and require us to react, grow, adapt, and solve.
The 2017 Research Administrators’ Symposium, “Breakthrough to Excellence,” takes these challenges head-on by bringing together professionals from across the SUNY research community to learn, share, and transform ideas into solutions.
This two-day event invites in outside experts and offers several tracks of presentations and workshops that focus on the life cycle of research administration as it exists today, covering project and proposal development; grants management; compliance; commercialization; and entrepreneurship. The symposium will empower research administrators to best support the infrastructure needed to enable and facilitate the groundbreaking scientific and scholarly research ongoing at SUNY campuses all across the state.
