Mentored By:  Adnan Rangwala, Stony Brook

Why I want to be a Protege:

"I want this mentorship to provide me with confidence to handle tough situations for the rest of my career. I want to be able to form relationships with leaders of the field and learn from their insight. I believe I will have personal growth and a new set of polished skills once I have successfully completed this mentorship."

Personal Statement:

"Ever since my undergraduate studies, I have had a great deal of interest in research. After beginning my masters in health care administration, I have learned a great amount of information through classroom based learning. I believe that the next step in my career would be to put my skills to the test. I would like to apply my skills in the real world of administration. I have done project administration at my previous employment at Mount Sinai Hospital. Now at Stony Brook Medicine, I am working on applying for NIH's Clinical and Translational Science Award. I believe I will greatly benefit from this mentorship as it will allow me to sharpen many of my administrative skills."

"Gaining knowledge in research administration, obtaining the CTSA grant for Stony Brook, Properly managing the grant."
