BioBAT, Inc.
BioBAT, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit corporation formed by the RF (acting on behalf of SUNY Downstate Medical Center) in partnership with the New York City Economic Development Corporation in order to develop the Brooklyn Army Terminal into a site for biotechnology research, development, manufacturing and corporate expansion. This world class facility provides dedicated space for growing biotechnology and biopharmaceutical companies and an environment necessary to continue to advance the state of the biotechnology industry in New York City.

Broad Hollow Bioscience Park, Inc. (BHBP)
Broad Hollow Bioscience Park, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation formed by the RF (acting on behalf of Farmingdale State College) and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory to operate a high technology incubator facility on the Farmingdale State campus.

Its purpose is to assist in the economic development of the region by attracting public and private funds to further research and biotechnology development by facilitating the transfer of biotechnology resources to the marketplace and by creating jobs.

Brookhaven Science Associates, LLC (BSA)
Brookhaven Science Associates is a not-for-profit, limited liability company formed by the RF (acting on behalf of Stony Brook University) and Battelle Memorial Institute. In a national competition against the country's leading research universities, the U.S. Department of Energy in 1997 selected BSA to operate the Brookhaven National Laboratory (BNL) – a $2 billion contract.

Buffalo 2020 Development Corporation
Buffalo 2020 Development Corporation is a private, not-for-profit corporation formed by the RF and the University at Buffalo Foundation to develop research facilities that will advance the academic mission of the University at Buffalo and promote economic development in and around Buffalo, New York.

CUBRC, Inc. 
CUBRC, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit corporation formed by the RF (acting on behalf of the University at Buffalo) whose mission is to bring together scientists, engineers and resources from academia and industry to provide the synergism to expand the research capabilities of all and to provide significant growth opportunities in Western New York.

CUBRC, Inc. competes for research programs that would not otherwise be available to the University at Buffalo. The RF’s partner in this corporation is the University at Buffalo Foundation Incubator, Inc.

Downstate Technology Center, Inc. (DTC)
Downstate Technology Center, Inc. is a private, not-for-profit corporation formed by the RF (on behalf of SUNY Downstate Medical Center) and the Health Science Center at Brooklyn Foundation, Inc., to provide a vehicle for the construction of an advanced biotechnology research park adjacent to the SUNY Downstate Medical Center, to advance medical research, provide incubator space and assist in the economic development of the Borough of Brooklyn.

Fort Schuyler Management Corporation
Fort Schuyler Management Corporation (FSMC) is a private, not-for-profit corporation, formed by the RF in partnership with the SUNY IT Foundation.

FSMC will facilitate the construction of a nanotechnology and semiconductor development and manufacturing facility adjacent to the SUNY Institute of Technology (SUNYIT) campus in partnership with local economic development institutions. FSMC will advance the growth of an emerging nanotechnology and semiconductor research and development cluster in New York that includes the College of Nanoscale Science and Engineering at the University at Albany.

Fuller Road Management Corporation (FRMC) 
FRMC, a private, not-for-profit corporation formed by the RF (acting on behalf of the University at Albany) and the University at Albany Foundation, Inc., to provide a vehicle for the construction of comprehensive research facilities that support a high-tech business incubator, workforce development, research and development and technology acceleration.

Long Island High Technology Incubator, Inc. (LIHTI)
LIHTI is a private, not-for-profit corporation formed by the RF (on behalf of Stony Brook University) and the Stony Brook Foundation, Inc. Incorporated in September 1989, LIHTI's founding premise was to target the development of new high technology companies in a limited number of overlapping technology growth areas including biotechnology, environmental technologies, electronics, information technologies and new materials technologies.

New York Genome Center LLC
New York Genome Center (“NYGC”) is a private, non-profit organization formed in an effort to leverage the collaborative resources of leading academic medical centers, research universities, and commercial organizations. The vision of NYGC is to transform medical research and clinical care in and around New York City through the creation of what will become one of the largest genomics and bioinformatics facilities in North America. The RF participates in NYGC as an Institutional Founding Member on behalf of Stony Brook University.

U.S. Photovoltaic Manufacturing Consortium, Inc.  
In 2012, the RF, acting on behalf of SUNY Polytechnic Institute, and in partnership with SEMATECH, incorporated U.S. Photovoltaic Manufacturing Consortium, Inc. (PVMC).  PVMC is a collaborative partnership which will seek to foster the development of photovoltaic (PV) technology manufacturing in the United States by supporting research, testing and certification.
