RF Awards or Projects Terminating with Active Employees

Description

Purpose

The report displays all awards and projects that will be terminating in a particular payroll cycle that have active employees who are being paid on that award, project, or task for the date range entered. This monitoring report should be used to avoid labor expenditures going to suspense. Report can be run for one payroll period or many payroll periods.

Frequency

This report should be run prior to the upcoming payroll cycle.

Setting Report Parameters

Required Parameter

Start Date

The payroll period from date.

The report displays the names of the employees on awards and projects that will terminate within the start and end date range entered.

End Date

The payroll period to date.

The report displays the names of the employees on awards and projects that will terminate within the start and end date range entered.

Understanding the Output

The following table describes the report output:

Column Heading

Description of Column

Project-LOC

The number associated with a particular project and the campus location of the project.

Award

The number associated with the award that is funding the projects and tasks.

Task

The number of the task associated with the terminating project with active employees.

Employee

The last and first name of the person whose labor is being charge to the project, award, and task.

End Date

The date that the project, award, and task will no longer be active, or, the end date on an employee's labor schedule.

Status

The state or condition of the project or award, whether it is active or inactive.

Sponsor

The funding source of the award.

Award Name

The short name of the award.

Principal Investigator

The last and first name of the PI for the award.
