Report - RF Minority Business

Description

Purpose

The Research Foundation (RF) Minority Business report is used to monitor minority business activity.

Frequency

The RF Minority Business report can be run by award or for all minority expenditures at one operating location.

Setting Report Parameters

If this report is run by award, the result displays all minority expenditures for that award within the selected time parameters. If run for all minority expenditures, the report displays all minority expenditures for that operating location within the selected time parameters. The following table describes the required and optional parameters needed to run the reports:

Required Parameters

Type

The kind of report to be run.

Select All Minority Expenditures or Single Award.

Date Range From

The start date of total expenditures.

Date Range To

The end date of total expenditures.

Campus

The operating location.

Optional Parameters

Award No

Number of the award, if Single Award was selected in the Type parameter field.

Understanding the Output

The RF Minority Business report is sorted by supplier within a minority type. The supplier name and minority type of business information is stored in the Supplier File. The following table describes the report's output:

Column Heading

Description of Column

Supplier Name

The name of the minority supplier.

Minority Type

A value that indicates the type of minority that owns the business.

Minority information is entered in the supplier file and cannot be entered at the transaction stage.

Expenditure Amount

The total dollar amount expended to the supplier within the report's date range, using the date the transaction was created.

Percentage of total Expenditures

The percent of the expenditure amount in relation to the total expenditures of the award or of the operating location, depending on which type of report is run.
