View Usage Detail for PTO, FMLA, or Military LOA

Use these instructions to view details of accruals and usage for paid time off (PTO), FMLA leave, and military leave of absence.

Prerequisites

  1. Appropriate PTO accrual elements must have been entered for the person and absences must have been entered in the Absence Detail form of the person’s record.

To view usage detail for leave

When completing the Oracle forms referenced in this procedure, note that a white field indicates optional entry or one that is conditional based on the particular process.

  1. Note: Data from the View Absence History form can be exported into a spreadsheet or word processing program.
  2. Navigate to Fast Path > Leave and Accruals > Absence History to go to the View Absence History form.
  3. Complete one of the following fields:

    Field Name

    Last name of employee

    The last name search narrows choices for election.

    Number

    O

    Employee ID number.

  4. Click Find to display the employee's absence details.
  5. Review any of the following fields:

    Field Name

    Type

    O

    Absence type

    Reason

    O

    Purpose of absence.

    Actual Start Date

    O

    First day of the leave period or first day of the leave period in one pay period.

    Actual End Date

    O

    Last day of the leave period or last day of the leave period in one pay period.

  6. To view military or FMLA leave:
    1. Select Folder > Show Field to go to the Show Field form.
    2. Select Days. Military leave is always in days, for both exempt and nonexempt employees.
    3. Click OK to view history details of days absent.
    4. Select Folder > Show Field to go to back to the Show field form.
    5. Select Hours. FMLA leave is always in hours, for both exempt and nonexempt employee.
    6. If you need to view additional fields of leave information, select Folder > Show Field to go to the Show Field form.
    7. Select the required field.
