Process - Run Network Test

Use these instructions when requested by Customer Services to run an Oracle Applications network test.

Prerequisites

• Customer Services must assign the Network Test responsibility.

To Run Network Test

When completing the Oracle forms referenced in this procedure, note that a white field indicates optional entry or one that is conditional based on the particular process.

1. Navigate to Application > Network Test to go to the form
2. Enter the following fields to the Network Test form:

   Field Name	Required (R) or Optional (O)	Description
   Latency Region
   Trials	R	Value defaults to 5.
   Iterations	R	Value defaults to 100.
   Bandwidth Region
   Trials	R	Value defaults to 5.
   Iterations	R	Value defaults to 10.

3. Click Run Test.

   Note: The test results will appear in the Latency and Bandwidth Results regions on your Network Test form.

4. Copy the screen that returns following your normal process to capture screen shots.
5. E-mail screen shot to Customer Services department.
