Inquiring on an Invoice - Process Help (R12)

Use these instructions to find and review an invoice.

Prerequisites

  1. The invoice must exist in the business applications.

To Inquire on an Invoice

When completing the Oracle forms referenced in this procedure, note that a white field indicates optional entry or one that is conditional based on the particular process.

  1. Select Invoices: Inquiry > Invoice Overview to open the Find Invoices form.
  2. Enter the following fields on the Find Invoices form:
  1. Field Name

    Required (R) or Optional (O)

    Description

    Supplier/Trading Partner Region

    Name

    O

    The name of the business or individual providing goods or services.

    Invoice Region

    Num

    O

    The unique number on the invoice from the supplier.

    1. Click Find to open the Invoice Overview form.
  2. Note: When you query by supplier name, press Page Down to see all invoices from that supplier.
    1. Review the appropriate fields.
    1. To view detailed information about the matched purchase order
      1. Click View PO.
      2. Review the appropriate fields.
      3. To review purchase order distributions, click Distributions to open the Purchase Order Distributions form.
      4. To return to the Invoice Overview form, select File > Close Form.
    1. To view detailed information about the invoice
      1. Click Invoices to open the Invoices form.
      2. Review the appropriate fields.
      3. To view detailed information on holds, click the Holds tab and review the appropriate fields.
      4. To view detailed information on payments, click the View Payments tab and review the appropriate fields.
      5. To view detailed information about scheduled payments, click the Scheduled Payments tab and review the appropriate fields.
      6. To return to the Invoice Overview form, select File > Close Form.

      1. Click Supplier to open the Suppliers form.
      2. Review the appropriate fields.
      3. To return to the Invoice Overview form, select File > Close Form.
