Internet Connection Needed to View Live Webcast

We recommend viewing from a wired connection with a download bandwidth of 0.7 mb per second or greater.

To test your speed, go to www.speedtest.net. Please note that this site, although it is an industry recognized speed test site, does contain ads; be sure to only click on the 'Begin Test' link located in the center of the page. Bandwidth fluctuates, especially on WiFi and mobile Internet.

Computer Speakers Needed to Hear Live Webcast

Computer speakers are needed for audio to play through the computer. LiveStream technology conveniently does not require conference call phone lines be reserved, however speakers are required in order for you to hear the Learning Tuesdays programs.


Browser Compatibility

The webcast events use Livestream,which is compatible with most major browsers and operating systems. We recommend upgrading to the latest browser whenever possible.

Be sure to enable cookies and turn off pop-up blockers during webcast events.


Browser Plug-Ins

Adobe Flash and Java will be needed to view live webcasts. Always use the latest versions, found here:


Test Your Computer In Advance

We recommend testing the computer you will use to view the webcast at least one business day before the event.

Go to the RF's Learning Tuesdays LiveStream page. If you can view and hear the video posted, you can expect to be able to view the live Learning Tuesdays webcasts with no issues.

Enable Chat

Throughout the live events, presenters will be soliciting participant feedback. There are multiple ways to submit questions and thoughts, including:

1. Submitting an email to the studio email address presented on the screen

2. Calling a toll-free phone number to relay your questions to a studio engineer, or 

3. Using the LiveStream chat feature.

To enable the chat feature, simply follow the link to the RF's Learning Tuesday LiveStream page and in the upper right-hand corner click "Log In." You will then be presented with an option to "Login" or "Join LiveStream." If you do not already have an account with LiveStream, click "Join LiveStream." You may either join through a Facebook account using those credentials or "Join with Email." Follow the directions for either option, and your name will appear when you type in the chat window.

On the day of the event, when you go to the RF Learning Tuesdays page with LiveStream, you would want to click the "Login" link in the upper right-hand corner. This will allow you to participate in the chat.

Login Early

We recommend logging in to the program at least 10 minutes prior to the live event. Events run on Tuesdays from 10:30 a.m. through noon on a bi-monthly basis. Once you click on the RF's Learning Tuesdays LiveStream link, you will know your computer is working properly if you can see and hear the program preview.

Access Achived Events

You may access previously aired Learning Tuesday events by visiting the RF's Learning Tuesdays LiveStream page and searching for the event name and/or date.
