Why I want to be a mentor:
I feel that helping others improve themselves helps improve the world in my small ways. Also sharing skills and talents, always seems to make myself a bit brighter. Always learning something new myself in the process.

Personal Statement:
I'm just entering the "empty nest" phase of life. I have my pets and books, which I have always loved, but looking for some new activities.

I'm some what of a frustrated teacher. I find sharing my knowledge with others intrinsically rewarding. I feel success when my "student" thrives. Over the years in my private life I have been a Girl Scout Troop Leader and Religious Ed teacher. In my work life, I have chaired project to upgrade operations to utilized our Inteum Database Tools : Payables, Receivables, Analytics, and the Inventor Portal.

Commitment to Diversity:
Mentored students and supervised two staff. Taught them A/P, A/R, Contract Review, General Accounting Reporting, Reconciliation Skills. Presented materials related to managing contractual finance terns and royalty distribution for AUTM. (Association of University Technology Managers).
