Principal Investigator Handbook
The PI Handbook guides SUNY faculty, students and staff from the development of an idea through the process of writing a sponsored research proposal, submitting it through the RF, and managing the grant award. Business Compliance Training
Online general business compliance training is now available for all RF staff. Access the WeComply website for a course list. Your user name is your RF employee ID number, and password is rfsuny. Your employee number is available on your pay stub, direct deposit slip, or through the HR self-service function.

Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI)
The CITI Program is a subscription service providing research ethics education to all members of the research community. To participate fully, learners must be affiliated with a CITI participating organization.

Microknowledge
MicroKnowledge provides computer and software training, consulting and documentation services to businesses of all sizes, government agencies and not-for-profit organizations in Tech Valley and throughout the United States.

National Council of University Research Administrators
NCURA is a member association that serves its members and advances the field of research administration through education and professional development programs, the sharing of knowledge and experience, and by fostering a professional, collegial, and respected community.

National Institutes of Health (NIH)
NIH’s mission is to seek fundamental knowledge about the nature and behavior of living systems and the application of that knowledge to enhance health, lengthen life, and reduce the burdens of illness and disability.

National Science Foundation (NSF)
NSF is an independent federal agency whose mission includes support for all fields of fundamental science and engineering, except for medical sciences.

Universities Research Association, Inc. (URA)
Universities Research Association (URA) is a consortium of 86 leading research oriented universities with members primarily in the United States, and also in Canada, Japan, and Italy. URA is a not-for-profit corporation for the management and operation of research facilities in the national interest.
