Why I want to be a Protégé:

"I think this is a great opportunity for me to improve my professional skills so that it eases the transition into an MBA program. I am also hoping to learn about other campus' best practices and processes so that I can continue to expand my skills and knowledge base in the pre-award profession."

Personal Statement:

"I started with the Research Foundation a little over a year ago and work in the Sponsored Programs Department at SUNY Polytechnic Institute. In my free time I volunteer as a youth field hockey and lacrosse coach in my hometown. I love to relax with my two dogs and spend time with my family and friends."

Goals:

"Develop a solid foundation in pre-award administration so that I can further educate new PIs on the proposal and submission process, gain more responsibility in my current role, and pursue my master's degree."
