Robert S. Azeke, Managing Partner, Farol Asset Management

In 2011, Robert Azeke founded Farol Asset Management, LP after leading the private equity co-investment business for Parish Capital, where he was responsible for managing the relationship with the New York State Common Retirement Fund.  He is responsible for investment activities of the firm and is a member of the Investment Committee and the Management Committee.  Prior to Parish Capital, Mr. Azeke founded The Sunday Group, a boutique advisory and investment firm providing advisory and capital raising services for small and middle market companies.  With over 25 years of investment banking and private equity experience, Mr. Azeke has enjoyed a long and distinguished career on Wall Street, having held senior positions at JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Lazard Freres and Compass Partners. 

Mr. Azeke is currently a Trustee at Milton Academy (a private, independent secondary school in Milton, Massachusetts) and serves on the investment committee of the Milton Academy Endowment Trust and is the chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee for Milton Academy.  He also serves as a Trustee on the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York where he was appointed by former Governor of New York State, Mr. David Patterson.  Mr. Azeke is a graduate of the Harvard Business School and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he won a Division I National Championship in Men’s Lacrosse. He is fluent in Portuguese and proficient in Spanish.
