Ms. Patricia Caldwell

Patricia A. Caldwell is a partner of Gordian Group, LLC, a New York City-based investment banking firm specializing in advising companies and their constituencies in financial restructurings, valuations, merger and acquisition transactions, financings and related corporate finance topics.

Recognized as one of the country’s leading experts in structured finance, Ms. Caldwell brings more than 30 years experience as a financial analyst and investment banker to the Research Foundation Board of Directors.

Prior to founding Gordian in 1988, Ms. Caldwell spent 13 years at Citibank primarily in commercial lending in the Petroleum, Metals and Mining department. In her last position at Citibank, she founded and ran the Corporate Finance and Analysis department.

Ms. Caldwell earned a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University at Albany.

She is a member of the University at Albany University Council and its School of Business Dean’s Advisory Board. She is also a director of the Virginia Tech Foundation and a member of its College of Science Roundtable. In addition, Ms. Caldwell is a director and treasurer of SPOP, Inc. and a director of Fria, Inc., two not-for-profit organizations that provide services for the elderly in New York City.
